A new vision for a historic club.

The WSM RFC Vision is to invest in the club to provide an enhanced player and spectator experience through a mixed use development ensuring the future of the club.

 

The objective is to create value from the existing land holding of the club through the delivery of a residential-led mixed-use urban scheme, which will deliver new and improved club facilities while providing income generating commercial opportunities and creating a new community.

 

Club facilities improvement.

A key component of the vision for WSM RFC is to provide new and enhanced facilities for the players and spectators of the club. These will benefit members new and old, ensuring that the club can grow from strength to strength.

 

A new, urban community.

The club has underutilised land; by working with Studio HIVE and Atlas Land the space is proposed to be transformed into a new community woven into the fabric of the Weston Rugby Club and Sunnyside Road North. The development will comprise new homes, business space, a health centre and pharmacy together with a cafe and space for other complimentary uses.

 

Health centre and commercial opportunities.

The development envisages a brand new health centre alongside a variety of commercial space including a cafe and offices with the potential for other uses to follow.

An opportunity to enhance Weston super Mare Rugby Football Club whilst providing the local community with new homes and associated facilities.
